You might have already faced Mo’s dilemma. I certainly did. Luckily my children, now young adults, were fed a very healthy diet of awesome Rock'n'Roll stories. My partner and I decided to create books that would let us share these stories with music lovers everywhere.
In this first book, you’ll read the incredible story of the most valuable record ever. A song that was never officially released, but thanks to a community who lived for music and dancing, it became a legendary hit. It's a story that inspires us to create beautiful things, and to have faith that—sooner or later—they'll find the success they deserve.

We're launching a fundraising campaign to publish this first book, for young people aged 9 to 99! It will be available in English and French (mais oui!). In addition to the story, it will have background notes explaining the real events and the fascinating history of Northern Soul. To top it all off, there’s a playlist for you to dance to after—or even better, while—reading.
With your support, we hope not only to publish this book, but to go further and make it into a whole series. We've got lots more great stories to tell, and the world needs them.

Why your early support matters
If you are reading this before the campaign starts, chances are you know at least one of the creators, or you are particularly interested in the subject matter. Support from kindred spirits is vital to get the campaign off the ground, as it lends credibility to the project.
The potential supporter who happens upon the project will feel confident contributing if they see it already has others rooting for it.

The book will be hard-cover, on high quality, heavy stock paper
Crowdfunding on Ulule, a French equivalent of Kickstarter with a solid track record, and a favourite of comics and book creators.
The book has already been written and illustrated in pencils. Both English and French versions have been reviewed by our posse of amazing beta-readers, and we are updating the text with their feedback. As you can see above, a couple of pages have already been finalised in colour to give you an idea of the final product. We will soon start tightening the drawings and adding the colours to the whole book.
Our objective is to have the book ready for delivery before Christmas, in case you want to gift it to your loved ones (and you really should!)
